Our group singing classes provide a relaxed, friendly and enjoyable setting where both beginners and advanced singers can grow in confidence and improve their voice skills.
Through our sessions you’ll improve your breathing techniques, vocal support and articulation, vocal range, pitch and accuracy.
We explore a wide range of music and singing styles; from chart to musical, gospel to swing strengthening performance and harmony skills and learning to listen and work as a group.
There is also the opportunity for individuals and duos to practise songs and we have a vast sheet music collection to suit all tastes. Our encouragement and understanding has proven that there is room for the smallest and biggest of voices with us.
The strength of our singing department is demonstrated by our most recent annual dance shows being sung completely live accompanied by a live band with music from Michael Jackson, Oliver the Musical, Stevie Wonder and Beyonce.
Private singing lessons are also available. Please contact us for further information.

Acting LAMDA- (From 4 to Adults)
Acting is all about RE-Acting! and our classes enable students of all ages, whatever their experience to explore their potential through mime, physical theatre, voice and movement.
Students will develop their skills in:
- Working together as a group.
- Learning to improvise (acting without script)
- Self discipline
- Releasing creativity and imagination through drama games and improvisation.
- Vocal support, projection and confidence.
The skills that the students will build on are not just performance based but ones that will serve them throughout life whatever their age and aspirations.
Infant Drama - Emphasis is on group involvement, and then through this allowing each child to “find their own voice” through drama role play – exploring a wide variety of themes such as fairy tales, make-believe and moments from history. From this early age the pupils are encouraged to take the lead in creating their own stories and drama in class, using their imagination and creativity to release expression and build their confidence in doing so. Props and music play a large part in making these sessions stimulating and lots of fun!
Junior Drama - Aiming to build on their improvisation and devising skills, pupils are encouraged to become more independent in their thinking and creativity by the introduction of smaller group work. In a supportive environment we learn about how to create different characters using our voices and bodies to tell more detailed stories to our audience – we are the story tellers – from slapstick to Shakespeare, with and without scripts each pupil can enjoy the rollercoaster ride of comedy to tragedy and back again!
Senior and Young Adult Drama - Whether new to acting or with experience, trust building and teamwork lay the foundations for a very supportive group ensemble. From here the variety of scripts and theatre styles explored continues to grow with improvisation an important tool in looking around the text. Characterisation, movement and language are challenged with the of different time periods we’ll look at from Greek, Restoration to today’s new writing. From monologues to choral speaking, you may find yourself stage fighting, trying out some mask work and creating your own piece of theatre!
From 2010 we will be entering classes for group LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) performance exams. Please contact the school for more details.
